Our Parish has a beautiful tradition of giving out a vocation chalice each Sunday to one of the Parishioners and their family. Their solemn duty is to pray all week especially for seminarians and priests, and to offer up prayers for new vocations.
Today is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. And our family, by the luck of the draw, has received the chalice this week. What a wonderful gift to be able to pray especially for vocations.
So, to all you seminarians out there, especially those of you who are being tempted or tried. And to all you priests out there, who are maybe weary or struggling with the precious burden of leading God's people to Him. We are praying for you this week. And we love you and thank you for feeding us with the finest spiritual wheat of Jesus's Body and Blood each day.
